Karen Baird

Karen Baird is currently the Head Coach at Lawrence TECH in Southfield, MI.
She has been coaching softball for over 15 years and brings extensive experience and expertise to our training programs. Karen has worked with players of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds, and takes an approach to softball coaching that combines a love for the sport with a keen eye for detail. We take pride in providing a positive and nurturing environment where every athlete feels valued and encouraged to grow.
Prior to Lawrence tech, she was an assitant coach at Oakland Univeristy, a Head Coach for 10 years at EMU and a Head Coach at Albion College for 5 years. Karen played ball at Adrian College.
We are excited to have Karen back on board to share her passion for the game!
Karen is married and has a son named Henry. She has helped coach Henry's travel baseball teams as well.
